“Hey, Siri… Route me to Apple”

Around the same time, you and I had an idea that would change the world of EVs and more…

While doing a cross-country road trip from Chicago to California, I curiously wondered… how would an EV traverse the same route with me? The majestic Canyons and giant Sequoia trees didn’t allow me to linger on that thought for very long…

I mean… look at this!

Cut to back home, I picked up on that and tried routing. Let’s just say that I ended up feeling flustered with all the different apps I had to use and the whole experience of planning was not pleasant either.

I decided to take it upon myself to understand the problem and possibly look for a solution.

Born out of this spark is EASY EV, a responsive map system designed to plan and execute a road trip with an EV with reliability (online & offline).

Being an Apple user, I have admired the simplicity and genius in your designs. So when I saw that you were looking to add a product designer for your Maps team, I was overjoyed and here I am putting my name in the hat.

Let’s face it, climate change is real and we literally cannot waste any time…

I know I know, I may not be working on the exact product but rest assured, I will bring in the same curiosity and eagerness to tackle whatever comes my way.

Why me?

  • I am a multidisciplinary designer for over 8 years spread out in the fields of Architecture, Dance & UX design. I am a quick learner, and adept at picking up tools. ( currently learning Front-end Development and Accessibility for Web design)

  • My process of creating entails finding a concept; ideating; giving movements to those ideas; presenting it to the Audience/ User/ Client and reworking from their feedback. This cyclical and ever-evolving process strengthened my understanding of human-driven design. I take every challenge as an opportunity to seek out better ways of doing things.

  • I am also a zero-waste aspirant and mom to a 1 yr old pup rescued from a traumatic situation. I am passionate about creating a better future for the next generation.

But seriously…Why me?

  • In my previous experience working in architecture, I have successfully designed built environments within regulations and constraints. I learned how to negotiate and advocate for operational & accessible design that serves all spectrum of users. I collaborated with cross-functional teams and effectively communicated to ensure progress. I have worked with government agencies (Building & Planning Dept) and know how to adhere to standards and be free to design within.

  • As a dancer/performer, I am constantly questioning and creating movements that come from an empathetic space. I balance the head and the heart and I am not afraid to put myself out there in hopes of betterment.

  • As a freelance UX designer, currently working on a Virtual Physical therapy app for dancers. I base my work on research and design experiences with intent and my design sensibilities. I am a team player and take ownership of my decisions. I am willing and open to feedback and believe in an iterative process.

I want to design the change

I would love a seat at your table to create meaningful experiences adding value to lives.
